Every city has a must street where everything happens. In Vilnius it’s Pilies Street. Located in the old town there is always some kind of activity. If you are hunting down souvenirs here is a street with a lot of gift and souvenir shops. This short picturesque street can be found between the Cathedral Square and the Town Hall Square. Any festivities taken place whatever it’s official or spontaneous will make their procession through this street. This count for almost any event in the city, you just have to go to the street to see what is going on when you are in Vilnius.
One sure thing to take place is the Kaziukas festival held every year. Folk artists from all over Lithuania gather here to display and sell their commodities. This is an unique opportunity to take part of the cultural life of Vilnius and Lithuania.
